The Fox Glacier/Te Moeka o Tuawe is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Originally called the Prince Alfred Glacier, the glacier’s name was changed when the then premier, Sir William Fox, visited it in 1872. In his earlier years Fox had accompanied Brunner and Heaphy on several of their exploratory journeys south from Nelson.
The Prince Alfred name may have been given by Sir Julius von Haast.
