The Stewart Glacier is a glacier in the Waitaha / Canterbury region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand. (Different to the other Stewart Glacier).

It has a latitude of -43.664694 and a longitude of  170.088583 and it’s status is: Unofficial Recorded.

Name was in common usage when submitted by R W Willett, Director of the New Zealand Geological Survey in March 1962, to assist in the compilation of a catalogue of New Zealand glaciers. The name Stewart appears on von Haasts map of the area in 1866. Instead of Steward Glacier.

It’s geographical description is noted as: Feature shown on: NZMS260 H36 Edition 1 1992 Limited Revision 1996.
