The Spanish Grass Glacier is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -43.117435 and a longitude of  170.864132 and it’s status is: Official Assigned.

Name submitted by the Westland Chief Surveyor, February 1970, after research in connection with the revision of NZMS1 S64. Name submitted to the Chief Surveyor by Mr Peter Harker, a locally known tramper and deerstalker, when he was requested for any information to help with the field checking. Origin and meaning unknown.

It’s geographical description is noted as: Small glacier near the headwaters of the Waitaha River, flowing South-westward from Ragged Peak.  Blocks III and VII Whitcombe Pass Survey District.
