The Sombrosy Glacier is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -44.163159 and a longitude of  168.833135 and it’s status is: Official Assigned.

Name is a combination of the names Rosy and Sombre, the peaks from which the glacier flows. Name proposed by G J McCallum, Tararua Tramping Club, June 1952; So named because it is between the Sombre and Rosy peaks. Source: Reed, A.W. & Peter Dowling, Place Names of New Zealand, 2010.
