The Nuns Veil Glacier is a glacier in the Waitaha / Canterbury region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -43.700548 and a longitude of  170.246136 and it’s status is: Official Assigned.

Name submitted by the Canterbury Chief Surveyor, February 1971, after research in connection with the revision of NZMS1 S79. Name supplied by H Wilson and A M Buchanan. The glacier together with the mountain, forms the picture of a nuns veil. Origin unknown. Name descriptive.

It’s geographical description is noted as: The glacier, descending southward from The Nuns Veil, a peak in the Liebig Range.  Blocks I and II Cass Survey District..
