The Monteith Glacier is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -44.27236 and a longitude of  168.49662 and it’s status is: Official Assigned.

Named after Mr M Monteith who was killed in Tangiwai disaster later in the year that he discovered the glacier. Submitted by Dr L F Molloy.

It’s geographical description is noted as: At head of the south branch of Falls Creek.
