The Eric Glacier is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -43.414036 and a longitude of  170.625151 and it’s status is: Official Assigned.

Name submitted in September 1969 by the Canterbury Chief Surveyor after research in connection with the revision of NZMS1 S72. Name taken from Canterbury Mountaineering Club Map journals and maps. Mentioned in Canterbury Mountaineer 17, p.212. Origin unknown.

It’s geographical description is noted as: Glacier at the head of Eric Stream, on the western slopes of the Main Divide between Dolphin Peak and Mount Odell.  Block V Havelock Survey District.
