The Agassiz Glacier is a glacier in the Te Tai Poutini / West Coast region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -43.504417 and a longitude of  170.210278 and it’s status is: Unofficial Recorded.

Agassiz Range: Named by Julius von Haast after Louis John Rudolph Agassiz, the German naturalist. Von Haast gave the name to what is now the Callery Glacier, but it was subsequently transferred to the glacier at the head of the Franz Josef.
