The Harper Glacier is a glacier in the Waitaha / Canterbury region of the Te Waipounamu / South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

It has a latitude of -43.530889 and a longitude of  170.424694 and it’s status is: Unofficial Recorded.

Canterbury, a tributary of the Murchison Glacier. Harper Saddle: Southern Alps. After Arthur Paul (A.P.) Harper, a pioneer explorer of the Southern Alps and a founder of the New Zealand Alpine Club.

Harper explored the Murchison Glacier with Guy Mannering and two others in January 1891. A bivvy, creek, and rock at Harper Saddle were also named after Harper.
